I’ve recently become involved with a fantastic organization called Flashes of Hope. Flashes of Hope raises money for pediatric cancer patients (and other life-threatening illnesses) through the gift of photography. One of my goals this year was to get involved with a charitable organization and this is the perfect fit! I can’t express to you how excited I am to be a part of something so special.

Next month I am participating in 2 Flashes of Hope events. One of them I will blog about later in June, but the other I want to tell you about because may be able to help too!  On June 12th, Flashes of Hope is holding a photo fundraiser at Camp Ockanickon in Medford, NJ, and for a donation of $25 you can get a 15 minute photo session with one of the photographers (like me!) onsite at the event. The cost of the photo session, as well as any prints purchased from the session directly benefits Flashes of Hope. Feel free to request little old me as your photographer, and if it fits into the schedule we can make it happen! Yay!

Details are on the flyer below, I really hope you will join us and pass on this opportunity to anyone you know in the area! (Please note: the web site on the flyer may not be ready for scheduling, if you are having any issues you can contact christie@gouldframe.com and she will get you scheduled.)

Please check out the Flashes of Hope web site at www.flashesofhope.org to see the amazing things they are doing for children battling cancer. It will warm your heart.

I’ve had friends get married on 5-5-05 and 7-8-09…and this year I am shooting a wedding on 10-10-10! Not only are they cool dates, but now you husbands have no excuse for forgetting your anniversary!

KC and Donnie are my 10-10-10 couple. They both live in Northeastern PA so their engagement session this past weekend was actually the first time we met!  It was SO nice to finally meet these two after months of communicating over email and Facebook. They are super silly and it’s obvious they have tons of fun together and make each other laugh. I even had to include one of Donnie’s funny faces in this post because it’s just so them.

We went to Bushkill Falls for our shoot…I had no idea this sort of thing existed in Pennsylvania (need to get myself out of the city more).

To see more photos, check out the video here. Looking forward to the wedding in October in NEPA!
