Paige – 7 months

Another great shoot at Appleford Estate! I met up with my friends Laura and Mike and their 7 month-old little girl, Paige, this weekend at Appleford. Paige is getting christened this coming weekend in – get this – the same christening gown that both her mother and grandfather wore when they were christened! How cool is that? She was such a trooper for our shoot, she went through 4 wardrobe changes with very few breaks and no fussing. However, she did pout once (as you’ll see below) but look at that cute little face!!!

Zachary

So, as you’ve probably figured out by now, Appleford Estate is my go-to place for my Philly suburb shoots. It’s just so purdy! I am a city gal so I am not familiar with other places in the ‘burbs that are like this (though I am sure there must be others), if you have any suggestions please let me know! Thanks to my friend Laura for suggesting Appleford in the first place – she and her hubby got married there and we’ll be taking pictures of their little girl there next month, so you have at least one more Appleford shoot to look forward to.

I met up there last weekend with 2 1/2 year-old Zachary and his parents, Natalie and Paul. I am always a little nervous before doing a photo shoot with kids under the age of 3 because they can be so unpredictable (and it’s the reason I carry lollipops in my camera bag), but Zachary loved being in front of the camera and before I knew it I had taken hundreds of pictures! He sure did love his baseball cap…it was just slightly big on him and looked so cute!

Thank Heaven for Little Girls!

Or at least thank heaven for Alyssa and Julia…what lovely little girls! I met up with the girls (and mom and dad of course!) at Appleford Estate for a photo session. I know I’ve said it before, but boy do I love Appleford, you haven’t seen the last of this place, I already have several other shoots scheduled there!

Alyssa & Julia were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Aside from being incredibly cute, they both loved being in front of the camera and weren’t shy about striking poses for me! And I just loved watching their sisterly bond…especially when Alyssa comforted Julia after we were chased by a very angry baby goose. (Note to self: gaggles of geese and children are not a good combo)

Joe & Annie plus 4

Haven’t we all seen enough Jon & Kate plus 8? Joe and Annie have half as many kids and not nearly as much drama…which makes for a great photo shoot! The triplets (Rory, Sebastian, and Ava) are 5 1/2, and the newest addition, Camille, is one. They are SO incredibly cute and well-behaved and made my job really, really easy and super fun.

We spent a couple of hours at Appleford Estate in Villanova (this may be my new favorite place to take pictures, the grounds are beautiful) and got some really wonderful photos – don’t you just love the bright colors on the kids?? It was really difficult to pick out my favorites, there were so many great shots!
